उपमं तवा मघोनां जयेष्ठं च वर्षभाणाम |
पूर्भित्तमं मघवन्निन्द्र गोविदमीशानं राय ईमहे
English:- . MAY our hymns give thee great delight. Display thy bounty, Thunderer.
Drive off the enemies of prayer.

य आयुं कुत्समतिथिग्वमर्दयो वाव्र्धानो दिवे-दिवे |
तं तवा वयं हर्यश्वं शतक्रतुं वाजयन्तो हवामहे
English:- Crush with thy foot the niggard churls who bring no gifts. Mighty art thou
There is not one to equal thee.

आ नो विश्वेषां रसं मध्वः सिञ्चन्त्वद्रयः |
ये परावति सुन्विरे जनेष्वा ये अर्वावतीन्दवः
English:- Thou art the Lord of Soma pressed, Soma impressed is also thine.
Thou art the Sovran of the folk.

विश्वा दवेषांसि जहि चाव चा कर्धि विश्वे सन्वन्त्वा वसु |
शीष्टेषु चित ते मदिरासो अंशवो यत्रा सोमस्य तर्म्पसि
English:- Come, go thou forth, dwelling in heaven and listening to the prayers of men:
Thou fillest both the heavens and earth.

इन्द्र नेदीय एदिहि मितमेधाभिरूतिभिः |
आ शन्तम शन्तमाभिरभिष्टिभिरा सवापे सवापिभिः
English:- Even that hill with rocky heights, with hundreds, thousands, held within.
Thou for thy worshippers brakest through.

आजितुरं सत्पतिं विश्वचर्षणिं कर्धि परजास्वाभगम |
पर सू तिरा शचीभिर्ये त उक्थिनः करतुं पुनत आनुषक
English:- We call on thee both night and day to taste the flowing Soma juice:
Do thou fulfil our heart's desire.

यस्ते साधिष्ठो.अवसे ते सयाम भरेषु ते |
वयं होत्राभिरुत देवहूतिभिः ससवांसो मनामहे
English:- Where is that ever-youthful Steer, strong. necked and never yet bent down?
What Brahman ministers to him?

अहं हि ते हरिवो बरह्म वाजयुराजिं यामि सदोतिभिः |
तवामिदेव तममे समश्वयुर्गव्युरग्रे मथीनाम
English:- To whose libation doth the Steer, betake him with delight therein?
Who takes delight in Indra now?
