1 यहोवा का यह वचन मेरे पास पहुंचा,
1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, अपना मुंह सेईर पहाड़ की ओर कर के उसके विरुद्ध भविष्यद्वाणी कर,
2 Son of man, set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesy against it,
3 और उस से कह, परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, हे सेईर पहाड़, मैं तेरे विरुद्ध हूँ; और अपना हाथ तेरे विरुद्ध बढ़ा कर तुझे उजाड़ ही उजाड़ कर दूंगा।
3 And say unto it, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate.
4 मैं तेरे नगरों को खण्डहर कर दूंगा, और तू उजाड़ हो जाएगा; तब तू जान लेगा कि मैं यहोवा हूँ।
4 I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.
5 क्योंकि तू इस्राएलियों से युग-युग की शत्रुता रखता था, और उनकी विपत्ति के समय जब उनके अधर्म के दण्ड का समय पहुंचा, तब उन्हें तलवार से मारे जाने को दे दिया।
5 Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end:
6 इसलिये परमेश्वर यहोवा की यह वाणी है, मेरे जीवन की सौगन्ध, मैं तुझे हत्या किए जाने के लिये तैयार करूंगा ओर खून तेरा पीछा करेगा; तू तो खून से न घिनाता था, इस कारण खून तेरा पीछा करेगा।
6 Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee.
7 इस रीति मैं सेईर पहाड़ को उजाड ही उजाड़ कर दूंगा, और जो उस में आता-जाता हो, मैं उसको नाश करूंगा।
7 Thus will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth.
8 और मैं उसके पहाड़ों को मारे हुओं से भर दूंगा; तेरे टीलों, तराइयों और सब नालों में तलवार से मारे हुए गिरेंगे!
8 And I will fill his mountains with his slain men: in thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in all thy rivers, shall they fall that are slain with the sword.
9 मैं तुझे युग युग के लिये उजाड़ कर दूंगा, और तेरे नगर फिर न बसेंगे। तब तुम जान लागे कि मैं यहोवा हूँ।
9 I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
10 क्योंकि तू ने कहा है, कि ये दोनों जातियां और ये दोनों देश मेरे होंगे; और हम ही उनके स्वामी हो जाएंगे, यद्यपि यहोवा वहां था।
10 Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the LORD was there:
11 इस कारण, परमेश्वर यहोवा की यह वाणी है, मेरे जीवन की सौगनध, तेरे कोप के अनुसार, और जो जलजलाहट तू ने उन पर अपने बैर के कारण की है, उसी के अनुसार मैं तुझ से बर्ताव करूंगा, और जब मैं तेरा न्याय करूं, तब तुम में अपने को प्रगट करूंगा।
11 Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee.
12 और तू जानेगा, कि मुझ यहोवा ने तेरी सब तिरस्कार की बातें सुनी हैं, जो तू ने इस्राएल के पहाड़ों के विषय में कहीं, कि, वे तो उजड़ गए, वे हम ही को दिए गए हैं कि हम उन्हें खा डालें।
12 And thou shalt know that I am the LORD, and that I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.
13 तुम ने अपने मुंह से मेरे विरुद्ध बड़ाई मारी, और मेरे विरुद्ध बहुत बातें कही हैं; इसे मैं ने सुना है।
13 Thus with your mouth ye have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard them.
14 परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, जब पृथ्वी भर में आनन्द होगा, तब मैं तुझे उजाड़ करूंगा।
14 Thus saith the Lord GOD; When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.
15 तू इस्राएल के घराने के निज भाग के उजड़ जाने के कारण आनन्दित हुआ, सो मैं भी तुझ से वैसा ही करूंगा; हे सेईर पहाड़, हे एदोम के सारे देश, तू उजाड़ हो जाएगा। तब वे जान लेंगे कि मैं यहोवा हूँ।
15 As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, even all of it: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
