1 याह की स्तुति करो, यहोवा के नाम की स्तुति करो, हे यहोवा के सेवकों तुम स्तुति करो,
1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise him, O ye servants of the LORD.
2 तुम जो यहोवा के भवन में, अर्थात हमारे परमेश्वर के भवन के आंगनों में खड़े रहते हो!
2 Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God,
3 याह की स्तुति करो, क्योंकि यहोवा भला है; उसके नाम का भजन गाओ, क्योंकि यह मन भाऊ है!
3 Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.
4 याह ने तो याकूब को अपने लिये चुना है, अर्थात इस्राएल को अपने निज धन होने के लिये चुन लिया है।
4 For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.
5 मैं तो जानता हूं कि हमारा प्रभु यहोवा सब देवताओं से महान है।
5 For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.
6 जो कुछ यहोवा ने चाहा उसे उसने आकाश और पृथ्वी और समुद्र और सब गहिरे स्थानों में किया है।
6 Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.
7 वह पृथ्वी की छोर से कुहरे उठाता है, और वर्षा के लिये बिजली बनाता है, और पवन को अपने भण्डार में से निकालता है।
7 He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.
8 उसने मिस्त्र में क्या मनुष्य क्या पशु, सब के पहिलौठों को मार डाला!
8 Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.
9 हे मिस्त्र, उसने तेरे बीच में फिरौन और उसके सब कर्मचारियों के बीच चिन्ह और चमत्कार किए।
9 Who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.
10 उसने बहुत सी जातियां नाश की, और सामर्थी राजाओं को,
10 Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;
11 अर्थात एमोरियों के राजा सीहोन को, और बाशान के राजा ओग को, और कनान के सब राजाओं को घात किया;
11 Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:
12 और उनके देश को बांट कर, अपनी प्रजा इस्राएल के भाग होने के लिये दे दिया॥
12 And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.
13 हे यहोवा, तेरा नाम सदा स्थिर है, हे यहोवा जिस नाम से तेरा स्मरण होता है, वह पीढ़ी- पीढ़ी बना रहेगा।
13 Thy name, O LORD, endureth for ever; and thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.
14 यहोवा तो अपनी प्रजा का न्याय चुकाएगा, और अपने दासों की दुर्दशा देख कर तरस खाएगा।
14 For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.
15 अन्यजातियों की मूरतें सोना- चान्दी ही हैं, वे मनुष्यों की बनाईं हुई हैं।
15 The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
16 उनके मुंह तो रहता है, परन्तु वे बोल नहीं सकतीं, उनके आंखें तो रहती हैं, परन्तु वे देख नहीं सकतीं,
16 They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;
17 उनके कान तो रहते हैं, परन्तु वे सुन नहीं सकतीं, न उनके कुछ भी सांस चलती है।
17 They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.
18 जैसी वे हैं वैसे ही उनके बनाने वाले भी हैं; और उन पर सब भरोसा रखने वाले भी वैसे ही हो जाएंगे!
18 They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.
19 हे इस्राएल के घराने यहोवा को धन्य कह! हे हारून के घराने यहोवा को धन्य कह!
19 Bless the LORD, O house of Israel: bless the LORD, O house of Aaron:
20 हे लेवी के घराने यहोवा को धन्य कह! हे यहोवा के डरवैयो यहोवा को धन्य कहो!
20 Bless the LORD, O house of Levi: ye that fear the LORD, bless the LORD.
21 यहोवा जो यरूशलेम में वास करता है, उसे सिय्योन में धन्य कहा जावे! याह की स्तुति करो!
21 Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
