1 क्या ही धन्य है वह, जो कंगाल की सुधि रखता है! विपत्ति के दिन यहोवा उसको बचाएगा।
1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
2 यहोवा उसकी रक्षा करके उसको जीवित रखेगा, और वह पृथ्वी पर भाग्यवान होगा। तू उसको शत्रुओं की इच्छा पर न छोड़।
2 The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.
3 जब वह व्याधि के मारे सेज पर पड़ा हो, तब यहोवा उसे सम्भालेगा; तू रोग में उसके पूरे बिछौने को उलटकर ठीक करेगा॥
3 The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
4 मैं ने कहा, हे यहोवा, मुझ पर अनुग्रह कर; मुझ को चंगा कर, क्योंकि मैं ने तो तेरे विरुद्ध पाप किया है!
4 I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.
5 मेरे शत्रु यह कहकर मेरी बुराई करते हैं: वह कब मरेगा, और उसका नाम कब मिटेगा?
5 Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?
6 और जब वह मुझ से मिलने को आता है, तब वह व्यर्थ बातें बकता है, जब कि उसका मन अपने अन्दर अधर्म की बातें संचय करता है; और बाहर जाकर उनकी चर्चा करता है।
6 And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.
7 मेरे सब बैरी मिलकर मेरे विरुद्ध कानाफूसी करते हैं; वे मेरे विरुद्ध होकर मेरी हानि की कल्पना करते हैं॥
7 All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.
8 वे कहते हैं कि इसे तो कोई बुरा रोग लग गया है; अब जो यह पड़ा है, तो फिर कभी उठने का नहीं।
8 An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.
9 मेरा परम मित्र जिस पर मैं भरोसा रखता था, जो मेरी रोटी खाता था, उसने भी मेरे विरुद्ध लात उठाई है।
9 Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
10 परन्तु हे यहोवा, तु मुझ पर अनुग्रह करके मुझ को उठा ले कि मैं उन को बदला दूं!
10 But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.
11 मेरा शत्रु जो मुझ पर जयवन्त नहीं हो पाता, इस से मैं ने जान लिया है कि तू मुझ से प्रसन्न है।
11 By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
12 और मुझे तो तू खराई से सम्भालता, और सर्वदा के लिये अपने सम्मुख स्थिर करता है॥
12 And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.
13 इस्राएल का परमेश्वर यहोवा आदि से अनन्तकाल तक धन्य है आमीन, फिर आमीन॥
13 Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.
