सं पूषन्नध्वनस्तिर वयंहो विमुचो नपात |

English:- SHORTEN our ways, O Pūṣan, move aside obstruction in the path:
Go close before us, cloud-born God.

अप सम तम्पथो जहि
English:- Drive, Pūṣan, from our road the wolf, the wicked inauspicious wolf,
Who lies in wait to injure us.

अप तयं परिपन्थिनं मुषीवाणं हुरश्चितम |
दूरमधिस्रुतेरज
English:- Who lurks about the path we take, the robber with a guileful heart:

English:- Tread with thy foot and trample out the firebrand of the wicked one,

English:- Wise Pūṣan, Wonder-Worker, we claim of thee now the aid wherewith
